Ah, a picture of the spread! Our second Christmas with the boys was slow and perfect. We woke up at normal time and I changed the boys while Rich brought us an on the go breakfast. The kind of breakfast that can be eaten in the boys room behind closed doors, so as not to see that Santa has been here. When they saw the loot, Avery said "Santa!" What a smart kid.

The tools were a favorite. Avery is wearing his tool belt. The sit n spins were eh. The boys use them as bar stools, mostly. Oddly enough, they play a song that sounds just like the background music from "How it's Made" Very strange in my book. I keep feeling like I should narrate something like "next, the bolts are sorted by size into a hopper, where they are spun for three hours until shiny"

Avery with his circoco. Sadly, the second one was thrown over the stairs just days after this photo was taken, and it broke. We had a long discussion about how when things break we have to throw them away, then we ALL threw it away.

Noah loves these trains. He loves making trains, and stacking things. This was about 4 in the afternoon. Christmas was still going strong.

Can you do this? I didn't think so. We do have video, but it must be edited. Mommy is not pleased with the way the light reflects off of the shiny satin pj bottoms covering her big bottom. Perhaps another day?
